Tonewoods : Soundboards

Choose one of these primary topwoods in any order at the base price:

sitka spruce
engelmann spruce
red cedar

Premium woods such as redwood, port orford cedar, adirondack spruce and carpathian spruce are an extra charge.
Each has some quality that endears them. I encourage those who are unfamiliar with the tone of these to compare the audio files.

Necks

Every neck is Laminated and carbon fibre reinforced. This is for strength, and locks in neck settings nicely, and minimizes against future movement. All necks are supported by a two-way truss-rod, accessible through the soundhole. Adjustment key included.
Choice of : walnut, mahogany or maple with thin black purfle in the center.
Default finish is gloss lacquer, but an oil-finish is also available.

Tonewoods : Body Woods

Tonewood options included in the base price of any instrument are:

Sapele
Walnut
Mahogany.

There are many other woods that have been used such as katalox, indian rosewood, oregon mytle, flamed maple, tasmanian blackwood, etc...Please enquire.
